This is a rare, hands-on learning experience working on a large floral-budget event. You’ll learn Alex's process while working with clients, how to price and order for an event, you'll design a variety of floral pieces, and then bring it all together on the actual wedding day during installation and set-up. What’s Included
one 2-hour online learning session with Alex - document share, behind-the-scenes, discussion of all things related to producing a wedding floral design
two days in-studio with hands-on design learning and wedding production. Items that will be designed by participants will be determined closer to the wedding date, however you can expect to design a variety of centrepiece styles, ground meadow arrangements, and components for installations. Learn how production in the studio progresses each day as we get closer to delivery and set up on the wedding day
one day on-site at the wedding venue with hands on learning and wedding production. This day will include creating a ceremony installation, unloading and setting up all flower areas like welcome area, cocktails, bar, ceremony, and reception. Participants will remain on site during wedding ceremony to complete the transfer of floral items to the reception area before departing for the end of the workshop
lunch and refreshments provided on three days in-studio / on-site venue
access to select photography / content taken from the day of the wedding
learning materials and tools to complete assigned tasks

Wedding Concept
The couple are extremely fun and making this celebration their very own! The wedding is nestled on a gorgeous, outdoor property, surrounded by the forest. The flower colour palette is a soft and colourful palette of mainly butter yellow, lilac purple, and chartreuse green, with an accent of blush pink and red-orange. Unique tablescapes of serpentine tables, centre-hollow round tables, and a curved head table will make for a captivating atmosphere under the venue’s clear-span tent. As a team, we will complete a full set up on the wedding day, along with a few installations, like the ceremony design.
The Finer Details
The online meeting date may be subject to change in order to accommodate all participants, subject to Wildfield Education’s discretion. It cannot take place earlier than May 4, 2026 or later than May 15, 2026. The preference is for this meeting to take place as scheduled, and in the event, a new date / time cannot be decided upon, a replay video of the meeting will be provided to all participants.
